The K.V.G. Institute of Nursing Sciences, a proud constituent of the esteemed K.V.G. Group of Institutions, is academically and clinically affiliated with the K.V.G. Medical College & Hospital. Strategically located in Sullia, Dakshina Kannada District, near the Karnataka–Kerala border, the institution offers a unique blend of academic excellence and exposure to diverse healthcare needs.

The Institute began its journey with the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme in 1991, marking the start of a long tradition of excellence in nursing education.

With the establishment of the K.V.G. Medical College in 2002, the institution’s clinical and academic ecosystem grew stronger, enabling students to gain extensive hands-on experience. Currently, the Institute offers three comprehensive programmes—General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Basic B.Sc. Nursing, and M.Sc. Nursing—each thoughtfully designed to meet professional standards and the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.

Students actively participate in health camps, outreach initiatives, and wellness programmes under faculty mentorship and in collaboration with the K.V.G. Medical College Hospital.
